Maribor Synagogue
The Maribor Synagogue is a former archaeological synagogue dating back to the Middle Ages. It is one of the oldest preserved synagogues in Europe, and one of only two remaining in Europe. The temple yard includes many important monuments, most notably a Jewish cemetery, a Talmudic school, and a fortified tower called the "Jewish Tower "; Now, the temple has been converted into a museum from the inside, as it houses a collection of valuable antiquities and works of art dating back to the late thirteenth century.
