Memoriale della Shoah

The Holocaust Memorial, located below Milan Central Station at street level, houses a museum created with the aim of "creating a place of memory, a place of dialogue and meeting different religions, ethnic groups and cultures" which covers an area of 760 square metres, mostly on the ground floor of the so-called Route 21", where Postal trains were loaded and unloaded, hundreds of Jews and political deportees were loaded onto cattle carts.The memorial, sponsored by the Holocaust Memorial Foundation, was inaugurated on January 27, 2013.
