Mimar Sinan Evi

The architect, Sinan, succeeded in bringing water to Istanbul from far and wide, and as a result of his achievement, Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent rewarded him by allowing him to put water in his house. After the death of the Sultan, he asked Sinan for an official document as proof of his entitlement to this privilege. However, the engineer could not bring evidence, so the judge ordered the water to be cut off from his house. And this house remained standing as evidence of this historical story.
