Monastery of St. Fanentes

Those interested in history and archeology find great pleasure when visiting the ancient monastery of Agios Faninos, where some of its features are still visible today, including the large old bell hanging on a platform of olive wood at the entrance to the monastery. There are a large number of perennial olive trees located in the monastery area, of which visitors are curious to know their age, as they stand as if they were an old man who learned the history of the place by heart.
