Monastery of Varlaam

The Holy Barlaam Monastery is the second largest of the famous monasteries in Meteora, and is characterized by the beauty of its stone building, which is built on huge high rocks and surrounded by dense green trees on every side. This monastery attracts tourists because of its religious value, the beauty of its panoramic view, and the modern museum located inside it, which displays rare icons of great beauty, and a number of religious paintings, most of which date back to the European Renaissance, in addition to the old clothes worn by monks in the Byzantine period.
