This historical museum was built in 2001 and houses a large collection of traditional objects used in the daily lives of the residents of Guelala, a village in the Djerba region famous throughout Tunisia for its pottery workshops, of which the museum is filled with exhibits. The museum is located on a small hill above the village and can be distinguished from the white watchtower that towers over it and is excellent for watching the sunset.
