The Museum of Sacred Art in Bilbao is located in the Dominican Monastery of La Encarnación. It was opened in 1995 and aims to preserve, study and disseminate the historical and artistic heritage of the Diocese of Bilbao to the largest possible number of people. These pieces date back to the twelfth century, and others reach the twentieth century, and you will find drawings, sculptures, and pieces of clothing dating back to these historical eras.
