The National Museum of Australia, a historical museum, seeks to display the history of Australia, and the stories of its inhabitants through different ages and periods, including 50,000 years of Aboriginal heritage, then the colonial period that began in 1788, the Sydney Olympics in 2000, and more. This museum also displays the largest collection of Aboriginal paintings on tree bark, stone tools, and the heart of the famous Australian racehorse "Far Lap", which weighs 6.35 kg, 1.5 times heavier than the hearts of ordinary race horses, and many more.
