New Palace
The New Palace is located in the heart of Stuttgart, and this baroque building was one of the last large city palaces to be built in southern Germany, bearing the stamp of the magnificent French palaces of the seventeenth century, and it was Duke Karl Eugen who commissioned the architects Architects built a three-winged palace complex similar to the famous Versailles Palace between 1746 and 1807, and it was destroyed in World War II and rebuilt later. Today, the new palace houses the ministries of finance and education, and is used by the state government to receive important visitors and host government events.
