The building was a villa for a Roman knight, when he died in 15 BC it was given in inheritance to the emperor, the land becoming the official property of the empire. This park is located and is one of the most wonderful places in Naples with a wonderful view of the Gulf of Naples. The gate overlooks the villa through a huge cave and a long tunnel of 770 meters in the hill. Its wonderful location gave it advantages that made visitors come to it from various places to enjoy the beauty of nature and the archaeological sites in Italy.
