The Roma Stone, also known as Aphrodite's Rock, is an interesting geological formation of huge boulders that stretches along one of the most beautiful coastlines on the island, located on the southwest coast of Paphos. According to legend, the ancient Greek goddess of love and beauty - Aphrodite - was born from the foam of the sea here, and it is said that under certain weather conditions, the waves rise, break and form a column of water that dissolves into a column of foam. Other popular legends say that swimming around the rock three times will bring you various blessings, including eternal youth and beauty, good luck and true love.
