Pieskowa Skala Castle
Perched above the Brednik Valley more than 700 years ago, Peskoa Skala Castle was founded by King Kazimierz Wielki and was a fortress and a key element in the chain of fortifications that defended the trade route from Kraków to Silesia. In the 16th century, the Szafraniec family transformed it into a palatial residence with a magnificent arcaded courtyard. The castle has remained almost unchanged, and today it presents one of the most beautiful examples of Renaissance architecture in Poland. The interiors include a collection of paintings and sculptures. Interesting art crafts.
