Plav's Lake

Lake Plav is located among the mountain peaks, at an altitude of 907 meters above sea level and extends over an area of 1.99 square kilometers. It is one of the largest and most beautiful glacial lakes in Montenegro. It was formed nearly 10,000 years ago with the end of the last ice age. This lake is surrounded by climbing paths that lead to mountain peaks and those designated for cycling in the summer, and ice skating can be practiced in the frozen lake in the winter.
