Quart Castle

It is a fortified castle surrounded by many ancient buildings, and this castle stands on a high rocky slope surrounded by tall trees and green lands, in addition to a small waterfall that springs from the rock. The period of construction of the castle dates back to the end of the twelfth century, around the year 1185 AD, and it was the first castle of Count Nicholas Cardo, then after that its ownership was transferred to St. Martino, who in turn gave it to the municipality of Quart in the year 1800. The castle attracts tourists with its wonderful location for hiking and enjoying the picturesque nature around it .
