Red Peak Mill
The Red Top Mill was built between the 18th and 19th centuries, and is one of the few of its kind still standing on the island of São Miguel. Its Dutch-style building is open to visitors in July and August. It has two floors and houses a small gallery of objects. Antiquities associated with the milling of grain, such as the miller's measuring boxes, his uniform, and many other items that show the tradition of milling in the region.
