Description of the place
The Reformed Church parish in Debrecen is one of the most prominent Reformed churches in Central Europe, built of red brick in 1887 in neo-Gothic style by István Szompathy and his wife Zsuzsanna Veresmarty to a design by Samu Pitz Petz), and is notable for its ornate interiors of Protestant churches painted by Jenő Haranghy in 1937.
