Description of the place
Resteturm is a ruined castle in the canton of Bern. It was built in the thirteenth century and rebuilt several times after that, and is distinguished by its tower, which still exists to this day. The castle was the seat of the Habsburg Knights Rusty, and in the sixteenth century it was abandoned It was left in ruins until it was restored in 1914 and in 2004 information panels, steel stairs and a balcony were added.
