Stein am Rhein

At the point where Lake Constance turns back into the Rhine, you will find Stein am Rhein, a very lively and charming little town, famous for its well-preserved old town with painted facades and half-timbered houses. One of the best-preserved medieval abbey complexes, the Lindworm Museum depicts bourgeois and agrarian life in the 19th century, as well as holiday areas and excursion destinations that include the Verde Islands group.
