This palace dates back to the Umayyad era in Andalusia, and after the Muslims left it, it was transformed into a house for the Christian king, Peter Castiel. Now, it is an exhibition that allows visitors to enter and tour inside, to learn about the architectural beauty of those eras. This palace was originally a fortress built by the Muslims, then it turned into a palace for government. The palace is the oldest royal palace currently in use in Europe. It was also listed by UNESCO in 1987 as a World Heritage Site. This palace has many names, including the Palace of Al-Mu'tamid ibn Abbad and the Palace of Seville.
