Description of the place
Located in the heart of Thrissur, this majestic palace was initially built in the year 1759 but through the ages some European elements were added, because the British and Dutch colonialists made it their headquarters. The municipality in the city turned the palace into a museum in the year 2005. The main structure of the palace is characterized by its thick roofs and walls, its spacious rooms, and its floors paved with Italian marble.
