Sanfins Monastery

The Sanvins Monastery is located in the northern part of the Viana do Castelo province. Its first buildings date back to the year 604 AD. Its religious architecture is one of the most prominent examples of the Romanesque era in Portugal. It has been classified as a national monument since 1910.
