Sant'Orso
Sant'Orso is a collegiate church dedicated to Saint Ursa in the city of Aosta. The church is distinguished by its beautiful Romanesque architecture; However, its current form resulting from the restoration process during the nineteenth century, when the church was originally composed of one semi-circular hall, was completely rebuilt during the Carolingian era, and the wooden beams in the church were replaced by ornate Gothic vaults. The church is also home to Roman artwork, as the church retains from the inside many Roman paintings that are distinguished in terms of style and bright colors.
