Saxon Railway Museum
The Saxon Railway Museum is located in the city of Chemnitz, specifically in the former freight locomotive depot, which was closed in 1992 AD. It also extends over a wide area that includes railways, water cranes, various steam locomotives, facilities for providing locomotives with coal and operational engines, as well as exhibitions devoted to explaining the history of the development of Railways in Saxony. The museum organizes an annual festival in August to display preserved locomotives from all over Germany.
