One of the most important monuments that must be visited in the northern West Bank to the northwest of the city of Nablus, where the history of this archaeological landmark dates back to the Bronze Age when it was inhabited by one of the primitive peoples, and the region has gone through many changes and historical events from the era of the Canaanites to the era of the Romans, who They built the entire city and it was called "Sebastia", which is a Greek word meaning the revered. The archaeological area is characterized by the presence of many large columns, the Roman amphitheater, tombs, and many other monuments that testify that Sebastia was a great Roman city. The city was exposed to an earthquake in 1330 AD, and the effects of its destruction are still visible today.
