Attracting history buffs, hiking enthusiasts, and anyone looking to get a little off the beaten path in Busan, Seokbulsa Temple is no ordinary Korean temple. Built on the sides of the sandstone cliffs of Mount Geumjeongsan; The highest mountain in Busan, it features exquisite Buddhist carvings carved into the cliff walls. This temple is relatively small, and you'll probably only spend about 30 minutes or less discovering it, but with the walk up to it, it makes for a great half-day excursion from the city center.
