Description of the place
St. Mary's Cathedral is one of the oldest churches built in the city of Bangalore and attracts large numbers of believers in the month of September in particular because of a banquet in honor of St. Mary in a distinctive religious and festive atmosphere. The cathedral also attracts groups of tourists during the Christmas period at the end of each year who wish to participate in the celebrations held there.
