St. Peter and Paul Church

The Church of Saints Peter and Paul or the Herder Church is considered the most important church in Vermar. It is a Lutheran church that was built between 1498-1500 AD, knowing that the first church was built in 1245 AD but it was subjected to a major fire. The church was built in the Gothic style, and it is called The Herder Church is named after the German theologian Johann Gottfried Herder, who used to work in it. The church has been classified among the archaeological sites in the city.
