The Śzinje Chain Bridge is a suspension bridge spanning the Danube River between Buda and Pest - on the western and eastern sides of Budapest - in Hungary. Designed by English engineer William Tierney Clark, it was built by Scottish engineer Adam Clark; Opened across the Danube River in 1849, the Chain Bridge is considered one of the modern engineering wonders of the world.
