Thuburbo Majus

Taborbo Maius is an ancient town and a large Roman site located in a river valley and on a major African trade route. It was established primarily to send military warriors to it and allow them to start their lives in a land of their own. It consists of monuments and pink marble columns. It contains the Temple of Peace, the Temple of Mercury, and residential streets. And the corridors of Petronius Felix, and the spacious house of Neptune, which is characterized by some wonderful mosaics with geometric decorations and other monuments dating back to 27 BC.
