The Art Stations of the Naples Metro are some Naples Metro stations away, where particular attention is paid to making the environment beautiful, comfortable and functional, including the construction and expansion of several metro lines, for which the Municipality of Naples has developed the Art Stations Project (also known as the Hundred Stations Plan ), which was intended to commission the planning of metro stations to well-known contemporary artists and architects. The art stations distributed between lines 1 to 6 of the metro network contain more than 180 pieces of art created by 90 international authors and some local young architects, allowing them to combine different architectural styles in their works. On November 30, 2012, Toledo Station was named the most beautiful station in Europe by The Daily Telegraph.
