Třešť Synagoge

The Trieste Synagogue is located in the town of Trieste, and the building is modeled after the Egyptian empires. The synagogue is distinguished by its unique design, which makes it a distinguished tourist destination. It is considered the only synagogue in the Czech Republic that contains a distinctive architectural composition of arcades. The synagogue was subjected to several incidents that required its restoration or reconstruction. Now mainly for exhibitions and concerts, it houses a permanent exhibition on Franz Kafka, and another on the Jewish community.
