Trollstigen is the most visited tourist route in Norway, and this masterpiece of engineering in the midst of majestic landscapes will make your drive a pleasant journey. The eleven magnificent turns offer many highlights along the mountain road. Each curve has its own name, often named after the person who oversaw the construction work in that particular section. You will discover in some locations that the road is carved into the mountain itself and in others it is built of stone.
