United Nations Memorial Cemetery

The United Nations Memorial Cemetery in Busan honors UN soldiers from 16 countries and UN aides from five countries who died in action during the 1950-1953 Korean War. It is spread across a grassy plain of 135,000 square meters. Some notable sites and memorials include the Memorial Service Hall. The memorial hall, two Turkish monuments, the Greek monument, the Australian memorial, the British General Wealth memorial, and two ponds.
