Description of the place
Lombadas Valley is located to the south of the Ribeira Grande and is one of the most prominent natural attractions on the island of São Miguel. It can be reached via a scenic bypass road that leads to Lake Kongro. Mineral springs and vegetation abound, and it is also the starting point for one of the most picturesque hiking trails on the island.
