Via Dolorosa Street

The Via Dolorosa is a street inside the Old City of Jerusalem and has great importance. According to Christian beliefs, this path is considered the place that Christ, peace be upon him, walked from the moment of his judgment until his crucifixion and execution, and it consists of 14 stages, each of which is an example of his suffering, and the stages begin near the door Tribes and ends in the Church of the Holy Sepulcher in the old city. Visitors walk throughout the year carrying the cross on this road, while Christians walk on it during their fast before Easter, in imitation of Christ, who was forced to carry the cross since his judgment.
