Villa La Maggia is one of the symbols of the Renaissance in Tuscany, as it was built in the fourteenth century by the wealthy Benciati family, and then bought by a member of the de' Medici royal family a few years later. It is a magnificent villa surrounded by fountains and vast gardens that will dazzle everyone who sees it. Inside the villa, visitors will also find majestic murals, gilded plasterwork, spacious rooms, and many more. UNESCO has placed this villa on the World Heritage List for its magnificence.
