church with a long history in the city. The first mention of it in ancient documents dates back to the year 1250. The church is located on a small island in the Limmat River, and was renovated at different times through the ages, and completely rebuilt in 1486​ during the Reformation. And the head of the reform movement at the time turned it from a church into a library after it was rebuilt. In this church, you find wonderful colored windows, many statues, and wonderfully beautiful ornate ceilings.
