Description of the place
Located about 6 kilometers west of Kon Yuam in Mae Hong Son, Wat To Phae is a large ornate Burmese-style temple built of teak wood by locals and contains a golden-coloured globe and a Burmese-style Buddha image. Inside the main wooden building is an exquisite 150-year-old embroidered tapestry from Myanmar.
