Yahchouch

Yahchouch is a small village worth visiting thanks to the stunning landscapes it offers of the valley, waterfalls, dense pine forests, and trees hanging on steep slopes. It extends over an area of 6 kilometers, and it constitutes one of seven villages surrounding the Mount Musa Nature Reserve, and therefore it is part of the network of biosphere reserves. Affiliated to UNESCO, it is located at an altitude of 930 meters above sea level, and includes the Monastery of St. George, which was built in the fourteenth century.
