Yeongdo Lighthouse

Yeongdo Lighthouse is located in Taejongdae Park in Busan. It was established in December 1906 as a guiding lighthouse for ships around Busan Port for more than 100 years. The old lighthouse was replaced with a new one in 2004 and its facilities upgraded, making the site a popular marine tourist attraction in the city. The newly established site consists of a lighthouse, an art gallery, a natural history gallery, and an observation platform. The white cylindrical lighthouse is 35 meters high, and its beam can be seen from a distance of up to 40 km. It is also possible to climb to the roof of the lighthouse to enjoy a charming panoramic view of the surrounding landscape.
