Description of the place
The Ayia Napa Canal is one of the few remaining canals in Cyprus that dates back to the Roman era. It was built with the aim of preserving rain water and artesian springs, and to deliver it to all areas of the city. Today, this canal is one of the most important archaeological sites in the city, which is visited by history-loving tourists to witness the greatness of the architecture.
