Bell Square

The Clock Tower in the Bell Square has always been of great importance throughout the ages. The tower houses a large bell that rings once every hour and a half and is also used to announce the start of important events, celebrations and festivals that take place on the island throughout the year. Tourists can sit in one of the restaurants or cafes in the square and admire the tower building that houses the bell and other ancient buildings.
