Beit Shearim is a small village dating back to the Roman era in the country, and this area was prosperous from its establishment in the ninth century BC until its demise in the early twentieth century. In this village, I found an amazing Roman cemetery containing several graves and 130 inscriptions, most of them in Greek, seven of them in Palmyra and some inscriptions in Hebrew. There are some scholars who say that the village is Jewish and was established after the Jews were expelled from Jerusalem and moved to the north in the Roman era, but it is not confirmed.
