Bordj El Berod

The Burj al-Baroud is an old, ruined watchtower located on the outskirts of the city of Essaouira, between Diabat and the island near the beach. It is located to the south of the Cane Valley near Essaouira. This historical landmark is located on a wide sandy beach on the other side of the Phoenician ruins at the southeastern tip of the Burbury Islands. Mainly, there are many reasons to believe that this structure may have been an integral part of an ancient Phoenician settlement, and it is an important archaeological attraction that you cannot miss.
