Located on the border of the coastal city of Seeb with the capital, Muscat, this stunning clock tower with its attractive roundabout and marine murals has become a major landmark in the west of Muscat Governorate. It is also one of the most famous monuments in Oman. Built in 1985, it represents the link between The governorates of Muscat, Al Batinah and Al Dakhiliyah, and it consists of four faces with a huge clock on each face that is used as a reference for the local clock. The tower is distinguished by its marble construction with an Arab-Islamic design.
