The Daisy Hill Koala Center was built by the Queensland Government as an educational facility dedicated to koalas, opened to the public in 1995, and extensively renovated in 2009 and most recently in 2018. Set amidst eucalyptus trees and featuring a large outdoor koala enclosure and many interactive displays, the center is a unique place to learn about and preserve koalas, with over 100 species of cute koalas!
