Giant Pool Balls

By enlarging and transforming ordinary objects into giant sculptures, Claes Oldenburg has become known the world over as the master of pop art. The artist transformed the city of Münster into a pool table in 1977, a nod to the city's history of war and the love of its citizens. For hot air balloons, there are three giant balls left in the large Asi garden, and although they are immobile, when standing next to them, one feels that they are about to roll.
