The Heger Gate is a monument and a stone arch dating back to the early nineteenth century AD, and it was built with the aim of commemorating the soldiers of the city of Osnabruck who fought in the Battle of Waterloo that occurred in 1815, and this classic arch has an architectural design inspired by the Arch of Titus located in Rome It is also topped with golden inscriptions and writings symbolizing the German courage shown by these soldiers.
