The Inner City Parish Church of Budapest was built in the twelfth century in the Romanesque style, to be destroyed in the Tatar invasion, and in the fourteenth century the ruins were replaced by a Gothic structure that was converted into a mosque during the Turkish invasion in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, and in 1723 it witnessed A great fire destroyed the building and it was then rebuilt in the Baroque style. Today, the building combines a wide range of distinctive architectural styles that refer to the historical events it was exposed to. It is a Gothic church that includes a neo-Gothic carved pulpit, Italian frescoes from the fifteenth century, and a high altar from the twentieth century.
