Johannistor Gate
The Johannestor Gate is the only remaining city gate in Jena from the medieval city wall. The first written mention of the gate dates back to 1304 AD. The gate was rebuilt in the Gothic style in the fifteenth century. To the upper floors inside it through stairs, and the gate was used in the past to guard the city, and it is considered one of the important historical monuments in the city.
